Introduction: Insomnia is one of the most common sleep disorders in children. Considering the role of this disorder in the formation of BEHAVIORal and mental disorders and its comorbid with chronic diseases and the need to pay attention to the treatment of insomnia and fatigue in order to maintain children's health, this study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of cognitive-BEHAVIOR multicomponent Therapy, named the KiSS program (Kinder mit Schafstö, rungen Programm) on insomnia and fatigue in children. Material and Method: This research method was quasi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test, and follow-up design in experimental and control groups. In order to perform this study among children of 8 to 10 years with insomnia referring to Medical & Psychology Clinic of Shokoufeh in, Tehran, Iran, within July to October 2021, 40 children were selected by the convenience sampling method based on inclusion criteria and were assigned randomly into experimental and control groups (each group including 20 children). The personal information questionnaire, Sleep Disturbance Scale for children (SDSC), Multidimensional Fatigue Scale (MFS) and Child Symptoms Inventory-4 (CSI-4) were used to collect data. The KiSS treatment was applied in the experimental group and cartoon watching in the control group. Due to the decrease in the number of subjects in the implementation PHASE, the number of children in each group was reduced to 15. The data were analyzed with SPSS software (version 22) using descriptive statistical indicators including mean and standard deviation and inferential statistics indicators including mixed-design ANOVA method. Results: The results of data analysis showed that the mean scores of insomnia the in the KiSS treatment experimental group in the post-test stage significantly decreased compared to the control group and the changes in the follow-up stage remained stable. The mean scores general, cognitive and sleep fatigue in the KiSS treatment group also increased significantly in the post-test stage compared to the control group and the changes in the follow-up stage remained stable. Conclusion: Considering to the promising results of KiSS multicomponent therapy, this treatment can be used as one of the intervention methods for improvement of insomnia and fatigue caused by it in children aged 8 to 10 years.

Abstract:

In this study, we investigated the PHASE BEHAVIOR of rods with square ( ) and circular (diameter D) cross sections between two hard walls using the Parsons-Lee theory and applying the Zwanzig approximation. Our focus is to find wall-to-wall separations (H) and the size of particles in which the PHASE of the system changes without occurring a PHASE transition. It was determined that if the distance between the plates is smaller than the length of the particles, for any particle whose length (L) to diameter ratio is greater than 1, the second order PHASE transition occurs, and most of the particles are placed in a certain direction parallel to the plates, which this type of PHASE transition takes place at lower densities with increasing particle’s aspect ratio. We also came to the conclusion that if the distance between the plates is greater than and , despite the PHASE change of the system with increasing particle density, no PHASE transition will occur. In addition, it was found that the cylindrical shaped particles show some unexpected BEHAVIORs, which could be due to the inappropriate performance of the applied theory or their real physical BEHAVIOR, which requires more detailed studies to resolve the ambiguity.

Abstract:

In this paper, the CORGCEOS is combined with an Excess-Gibbs-Energy model such as UNIFAC in order to extend the capabilities and improve the accuracy of the CORGCEOS in predicting the vapor-liquid equilibrium BEHAVIOR of mixtures containing polar components. The CORGCEOS is used together with the PSRK mixing rule and the original UNIFAC is applied as Excess-Gibbs- Energy model in the proposed approach. Comparison between this work (CORGC/UNIFAC) and the original CORGC with experimental data of several polar mixtures are presented. The outcomes indicate that CORGC/UNIFAC provides better vapor-liquid equilibria results than the original CORGC and the accuracy of binary polar systems is nearly twice that of the original CORGC. The required missing interaction parameters of the original UNIFAC model are fitted with experimental data and the missing interaction parameters for unlike pairs of groups in the original CORGCEOS are also determined. The model parameters are determined from VLE of binary mixtures and are reported. These parameters are, then, used without any further adjustment to predict VLE of multicomponent mixtures, for which more accurate results in comparison to the original CORGC are observed.

Abstract:

Dual PHASE steels with different martensite volume fraction and morphology were tensile tested at a temperature range of 25 to 550°C. Stress-strain incurves of all steels showed serration flow at temperatures of 250 and 350°C, and smooth flow at the other temperatures. Both yield and ultimate tensile strengths increased with increasing testing temperature up to about 450°C and then decreased at higher temperatures. At a given temperature, yield stress, tensile strength, and work hardening increased with increasing volume fraction of martensite. Similar BEHAVIOR was observed by changing martensite morphology from network to fibrous martensite. The change in mechanical properties Was related to the effects of dynamic strain aging, high temperature softening, and martensite tempering.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND: Cervical cancer is the leading cause of death worldwide, especially in developing countries. More than one‑, fifth of newly diagnosed cervical cancer cases are occurring in India. Cervical cancer is a highly preventable and curable cancer compared with other types of cancer, if detected at an early stage. The present study has been carried out to assess whether a community‑, based, multicomponent, nurse‑, led intervention program improves cervical cancer screening BEHAVIOR of women. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An experimental randomized controlled trial was carried out by recruiting 419 women in the age group of 30–, 60 years (246 in the experimental group and 173 in the control group) residing in a selected rural community (selected tribal settlements) of Idukki district of Kerala, India, using multistage cluster sampling. The intervention comprising small group education followed by reinforcement session, telephonic reminders, navigation and guidance for Pap smear, and follow‑, up visit by the investigator was administered to the experimental group, and the control group did not receive any intervention. Knowledge, attitude, and screening BEHAVIOR of women related to prevention of cervical cancer were assessed before and twice after the intervention. RESULTS: The experimental and control groups were homogenous in all baseline sociodemographic variables. The community‑, based intervention program was effective in improving knowledge (P < 0. 001), attitude (P < 0. 001), and screening BEHAVIOR (P < 0. 001) of women regarding the prevention of cervical cancer. A significant moderate positive correlation was found between knowledge and screening BEHAVIOR (r = 0. 408). Significant association was found between knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding prevention of cervical cancer with education, age at the time of marriage, and number of pregnancies. CONCLUSION: The community‑, based, multicomponent, nurse‑, led intervention program was effective in improving cervical cancer screening BEHAVIOR among women. Repeated motivation and reinforcement are needed to bring BEHAVIORal change and to increase uptake of screening services among rural women.

Abstract:

The microstructure of dual PHASE steels can be considered as a matrix of ferrite PHASE reinforced by martensite particles. Recent measurements show that the mechanical properties of the ferrite PHASE are changed with the distance from the martensite grains. In this paper, a new method has been proposed to consider this phenomenon in finite element modeling of dual PHASE steels microstructure. In this method, ferrite mechanical properties were imported to the model as a continuous function of the distance from martensite boundary. A unit cell model of dual PHASE steel was constructed based on the experimental measurements. The tensile test was simulated in both cases of considering the ferrite PHASE as the homogeneous and inhomogeneous matrix. It was observed that by considering the ferrite PHASE inhomogeneity, the model could predict macro stress precisely. Considering the ferrite PHASE inhomogeneity also led to the better prediction of shear band formation in the unit cell, as compared to the other model. A different stress distribution prediction was also observed in these two models and ferrite PHASE maximum stress was higher when inhomogeneity was included. These observations could be crucial in the investigation of dual PHASE steels damage. It was observed that martensite volume fraction and the grain size had a stronger effect on the model with the inhomogeneous ferrite PHASE.
